Her commercial experience includes IRS section 1031 deferred exchanges, multi-housing, and retail and office closings. Carol began her employment with Jones Hassett on July 1, 1980, as a legal secretary and office manager. In 1985, she obtained her Texas Department of Insurance escrow license, and began closing residential and commercial transactions and managing the day-to-day operation of the title company. She obtained her CESA (certified escrow settlement associate) certification from the Texas Land Title Association. Of 3711 licensed escrow officers in Texas, Carol is one of only 78 with such certification. Carol is a member of Fort Worth CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), Arlington Chamber of Commerce, and Texas Land Title Association. She also has her national signing certification from the National Notary Association. Her favorite hobby is sailing on Eagle Mountain Lake. She is also the acting foster/rescue contact and a board member of the DFW Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.
